What's better than an enviable office? One where you can run both of your companies---and take a dip on a hot day. The latest space in our Office Envy series is a sprawling space on the Midtown-Buckhead border that serves as home base for two separate companies owned by the same individuals.
The first is BCA Furnished Apartments, a long and short term corporate furnished apartment and vacation rental firm. The other one is WetKeys Washable Keyboards, a small IT equipment company specializing in industrial and hygienic keyboards and mice made for a variety of businesses in healthcare, food safety and industrial sectors.
Both BCA and WetKeys are small local businesses with eight employees between the two companies. Michael Anderson, a senior operations consultant at BCA and an infectious disease consultant at WetKeys, said housing both companies in the same space provides a tight-knit office community. The owners also use the building as their personal home. Talk about work and play!
"We are close friends in and out of the office and always contribute to an uplifting and productive work environment, through our fun workspace and positive energy," he said.
Amenities included at the property include a living room theatre, full residential-style kitchen, free meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and snacks, a nap room, a covered and uncovered deck, a ping pong table, swim/spa and an outdoor grill.
WetKeys Washable Keyboards carries over 400 washable and waterproof keyboards and mice and ships to over 36 countries. The company offers waterproof, washable keyboards that help prevent cross contamination in medical offices and healthcare facilities, industrial computing, at the office and home
BCA Furnished Apartments hosts more than 4,000 guests per year in its 46 apartments. The company offers low-cost short and long-term temporary accommodations in Atlanta’s Midtown and Buckhead neighborhoods.
