Stripe + Atlanta Tech Village: Going Global: From 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Atlanta Tech Village, join leaders from tech companies who will share their experiences of how they scaled internationally. Panelists will discuss the right time to go global, tips on prioritizing regions, how to think about localization, what this means for your marketing and how to build a marketing team. Techstars Startup Weekend Atlanta: From May 18 to May 20, Atlanta Techstars will host Startup Weekend Atlanta where entrepreneurs can look for a team, create a prototype, form their business idea and get feedback all in one go. Tickets include seven meals, benefits and discounts with global partners, one-on-one time with mentors and networking with developers, designers and entrepreneurs.
The Small Business Connection and Mixer Monthly Networking Event: At 6 p.m. in the Ivory on Whitehall Street, connect with other fellow entrepreneurs at this free networking event in downtown Atlanta. The event will include a 30-second spotlight for businesses, networking games, light food and more. RSVP here.
Geek Out On Marketing Technology: The Technology Association will bring together Atlanta’s most influential marketers and digital agencies for the third annual Geek Out on Marketing Technology event at Comcast’s Conference Center at SunTrust Park. Attendees can expect TED-inspired sessions from agencies and marketing leaders in the city and an interactive panel featuring the day’s presenters. Register here.
ChooseATL Tech Square Block Party: ChooseATL, the nonprofit behind bringing businesses to the city of Atlanta, will host block parties across the city Saturday, May 26, including this celebration at Tech Square from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Register for this free event here.
