Get the week rolling with a keynote speech by Business Success Center CEO Jan Triplett, followed by pitches from five Austin startups at the tech^map co-founders pitch event at Capital Factory. Triplett helped found the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Austin Literacy Council. Details and tickets here.

It’s been a year since Austin Inno launched. And we’re ready for another party. Get your Tuesday started with a Health Tech Austin breakfast conversation. LauraLee Hughes, executive director of the office of technology translation at Texas A&M; Jon Gebhard, senior executive director of technology commercialization at the University of Texas-San Antonio; and Mellie Price, executive director of technology innovation at the Dell Medical School in Austin will share their views on our evolving health tech ecosystem. Wednesday, July 13
Help MakerSquare ring in its 3rd anniversary during this Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. The web development school has had 600 graduates, and they’re celebrating with light refreshments, a look at what they offer and the ribbon snipping. It’s on the 5th floor of Capital Factory.
Thursday, July 14
Chow down on some breakfast while hearing a few Austin startups share what they’re doing. This week’s showcase includes Travis Hall, of MediaMobile; Jamie Caramanica, of Djed Studios; Aaron Wine, of Decibel Insight; and Austin Teague, of Vendly. Get it while it’s hot, starting at 8 a.m.
Friday, July 15
Cap the week with Startup Grind’s session at the Concrete Cowboy on West Sixth. Drinks and food start at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m., there’s a fireside chat with Howard Love, a long-time entrepreneur with 15 companies under his belt. Among his portfolio is Titan Aerospace, which sold to Google. He’s also an investor and founder and CEO of LoveToKnow Corp, a digital publisher.
July 19: Austin Inno kicks off a three-part meet up series focused on smart spaces with a conversation with Jeff Wilson (a.k.a. Professor Dumpster) at Vuka. Wilson, who founded Kasita, will talk about his experience living in a fixed-up dumpster and how reimagining living spaces can promote sustainability. The conversation will be followed by a July 20, 8 p.m., walk through of a Kasita unit and cocktails at Scoot Inn.
July 21: Urban Co-Labs and Austin Inno host a Diversity in Tech Reception to celebrate diverse founders, and network over a few drinks.
July 26-27: NewCo Austin features nearly 100 sessions with founders and entreprenuers inside their companies’ headquarters.
August 17: The Austin Chamber of Commerce hosts “The Spirit of Business.” It’s a trade show and speakers series at the Bob Bullock Museum, featuring Tim Angelillo (Sourced Craft Cocktails), Michael Westgate (RealMassive) and Todd Perrine (Belston Technologies).
