SXSW Interactive today announced a huge lineup of tech companies from around the globe that are now finalists for the SXSW Interactive Innovation Awards.

And two of the 65 companies vying for awards in 13 categories are based in Austin. Kasita, the micro-unit homes fashioned by Jeff Wilson (AKA Professor Dumpster), is a finalist in the Smart Cities category. And Peeple, which makes smart cameras for peepholes in doors,* is a finalist in the Privacy and Security category.
