With a plethora of recipes, reviews and images — endless images — Pinterest is a foodie’s paradise. We’ve set out to find some of Boston’s best food-related Pinterest accounts. From brands to bloggers, here are 10 local foodie accounts worth a follow. Be warned: You will be hungry after scrolling through these boards. Enjoy!
Dunkin’ Donuts – The Canton-based coffee chain boasts a pretty robust Pinterest account, featuring everything from photos of the “mothership” headquarters to Dunkin’ Donuts around the world to old school DD logos and ads.
Hidden Boston – Marc heads up Boston Restaurant Talk and HiddenBoston and has an incredible depth of knowledge of the restaurant scene in Boston and beyond. His boards range from photos of local restaurants to reader-generated recipes to New England food history.
Erica L. – Erica’s Pinterest account is an extension of her blog, In and Around Town. The boards are organized by types of dishes, from breakfast to pastas to fish to cupcakes. She also has a section for travels, home accessories and books.
Meghan Malloy –Travel Wine Dine’s Meghan Malloy pins photos of recipes and restaurant reviews from her blog and various other sources on the internet, so drooling is inevitable when looking at her page. She also has some lovely photos of Boston as well.
Lindsey Frances Jones – Bostonian Lindsey Frances Jones has an incredibly organized Pinterest, breaking down her boards into specific types of foods, like beets, carrots, eggs, pumpkins and more. If you’re jonsin’ for a specific type of recipe, you can quickly find one that meets your needs right away on her page.
Cakeology Boston – The local cupcake shop’s Pinterest is a must-stop destination for brides to be. Cakeology’s cleverly named boards feature everything from elegant dessert table setups to cute cake toppers. Oh, and there’s an entire board dedicated to their mascot, Bruce the Panda.
Cocomama Foods – Cocomama is a local startup that manufactures gluten-free quinoa cereals. But their Pinterest isn’t just cereals. The boards features healthy food blogs, gluten-free recipes and cool kitchen tools.
Big Night Entertainment Group — Big Night is the restaurant group that owns local establishments like Empire, Gem and Red Lantern. I was surprised to see that their Pinterest is actually very robust. They have a board called “delish” with amazing food porn recipes, as well as a board for sushi, cocktails and nightlife.
Brian – A Thought For Food – Brian Samuels is an incredible photographer, so Pinterest is a natural fit for him and his work. His “Food Photos” board is one of the most stunning collections of culinary images you’ll see, featuring great photos from both his blog and around the web. He certainly has an eye for beautiful dishes.
