A few weeks back I featured Boston-based instructor and master trainer Jennifer Menzer on our weekly series ‘6-Pack of Questions’. Well she’s back and has some exciting news to bring to the BostInno lunch or dinner table.
b.good, a company who values real food that’s quick and convenient, is proud to welcome Menzer as their first ‘Fitness Ambassador’. According to the release, Menzer will be responsible for offering free fitness classes and nutrition workshops at Boston b.good locations as well as provide events for the community.
And since b.good is known for their delicious, local and all-natural burgers, Menzer will also be providing input on current and future b.good menu items in an effort to increase nutritional value.
In a statement from co-owner of b.good, Jon Olinto, “We at b.good are super psyched to have Jenn on board as our first Fitness Ambassador. Not only has she been a loyal customer of ours, but we have also been loyal fans of her fitness studio Saldare. It seemed obvious that this would be a great fit.”
According to Olinto, “We want our customers to feel like they can eat delicious ‘real’ food that supports their nutrition and fitness goals without having to ‘cheat’. This is the essence of the b.good philosophy which promotes organic locally sourced food made by people not factories”.
So when will these free events begin? The first of many will be an All Levels Vinyasa Yoga class at the Dartmouth St. location Sunday June 29 at 10 a.m. Mats and b.good’s own 4petal juice will be provided for all participants. Be on the lookout for Menzer in and around Boston teaching her many classes and, of course, noshing on the healthy options over at b.good.
