Get excited, folks! Bon Me’s long-awaited Fort Point location is on the brink of opening. Today, Boston Restaurant Talk pointed to the food truck’s Twitter account, which states that the restaurant is hoping to open its Fort Point brick-and-mortar as early as tomorrow, January 13.
[Update: According to an official source, Bon Me will open for business today, Jan. 13 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tomorrow will be Bon Me’s official “grand opening.”]

The new restaurant will be joining Bon Me’s existing brick-and-mortar eatery in Kendall Square and a fleet of food trucks currently roaming the city. According to an earlier release, the new restaurant will be 1,300 square feet and will be located in the oldest existing building in the Fort Point neighborhood.
The new Bon Me space will feature an ordering station that resembles a Bon Me food truck, a dining area with a long high top communal dining table accompanied with bamboo seating and industrial light fixtures throughout.
Husband-and-wife duo Patrick Lynch and Alison Fong founded Bon Me back in 2011. The restaurant is named after the classic Vietnamese bánh mě sandwich. You can find the upcoming Fort Point eatery at 313 Congress Street.
