Friday

SBN’s 5th Annual Local Craft Brewfest – 6 to 9 p.m. – John Joseph Moakley Courthouse – Join the Sustainable Business Network for their fifth local craft brewfest, where you can taste local beers and meet the people behind them. There will also be live music and local eateries on hand, in addition to the 80 varieties of beer.

Workbar Movember – 6 to 9 p.m. – Workbar – Don your heartiest mustache and join Workbar’s Movember team for a mustachioed celebration, including beer, bites, a Mr. and Miss Movember contest, and more activities. The event is also “BYOS,” bring your own scotch, because mustaches.

Boston Startup Weekend – November 21-23 – General Assembly – This GA Boston Startup Weekend is dedicated to ideas to improve education. Join students, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and more for a 54-hour workshop that hopes to create an education startup that can make a difference.

Saturday

9th Annual Lydia Pinkham Open Studios – November 22 & 23 – Lydia Pinkham Studios – Forty studio artists at the Lydia Pinkham Studios will open their doors and workshops to the public this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, for an open viewing. Guests can shop for handcrafted gifts or just peruse the art during the visit.

Harvard vs. Yale – 12:30 to 4 p.m. – Harvard Stadium – These college football rivals will go head to head on Saturday, when an undefeated Harvard Crimson team will take on the Yale Bulldogs in an exciting game. Tickets are going fast.

1st Annual Cranksgiving Boston Bike Ride – 1 to 3 p.m. – Copley Square – This event, celebrating its first run in Boston, is part scavenger hunt, part food drive, and part bike ride. Grab your bike and bring a bag, you’ll be riding around the city, checking off food items on a scavenger list to donate, and racing to the finish line. The food will be donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank and two local food pantries.

Blink! Premiere and Faneuil Hall Tree Lighting – 2 to 9 p.m. – Faneuil Hall – Celebrating the kickoff of the holiday season at Faneuil Hall with the premiere of Blink!, live music, the lighting of the tree, and an appearance by Santa himself.

Winter on the Wharf Opening Celebration – 3 to 5 p.m. – Boston Harbor Hotel – The ice skating rink at the Boston Harbor Hotel opens for the season on Saturday, with a special celebration, marking the beginning of the hotel’s Winter on the Wharf festivities.

Sunday

North Shore Food and Gift Emporium – 10 a.m. – Willowdale Estate – If you live on the North Shore, or feel like traveling for the day, head to the food and gift emporium that brings together 40 local vendors of unique gifts and food, presented by Dinner Dealer.
