From a local craft brew fest (aptly titled the Local Craft Brewfest) to something called a Stache Dash, we have what you need to live it up, before you’re back at your desk, suffering from a Case of the Weekdays.
4th Annual Local Craft Brewfest – 6 to 9:30 p.m. – Moakley Courthouse – Hosted by the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts, this beer fest will feature over 80 beers crafted right here in New England, as well as food from local businesses. Tickets are $45 a person or $85 for two, and will not be sold at the door.
Greg Proops – November 23 $ 24 – Laugh Boston – ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’ comedian Greg Proops is bringing his stand up show to Boston this weekend, with four showings between Friday and Saturday. Get your tickets and details on the site.
Deep Agile 2013 – November 23 & 24 – Microsoft NERD Center – This two-day conference will bring together leading software developers in New England to discuss the need for quality and reliable software. Register online.
The Stache Dash Bar Crawl & Movember Fundraiser – 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Begins at Jillian’s – Rock your stache and get ready to head through the Fenway bars for a spirited bar crawl and fundraiser in honor of Movember, plus a scavenger hunt with prizes for the winners. Tickets are $23 in advance and $25 at the door.
Modern Barre Open House – 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. – The newest barre studio in Boston is hosting an open house this Saturday. Sign up online in advance.
SnowRiders Urban Session: Boston – 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. – Who’s On First? – Join SnowRiders at their biggest winter kickoff event this Saturday at Who’s On First? near Fenway. In addition to the party, they’ll be giving away ski lift tickets, gear and more. Get your tickets ($20.90) in advance before they sell out.
Faneuil Hall Tree Lighting with the Boston Pops – 7:30 p.m. – See the city’s biggest tree light up in all its glory with musical performance, Mayor Menino, the Boston Pops, and more, plus the launch of Blink!, Faneuil Hall’s light and sound extravaganza.
Spogo Sunday Football Bar Crawl with MassNightly – 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Begins at Game On! – Spend your Sunday barhopping with two local companies, Spogo and MassNightly, through a tour of the best of Fenway and Back Bay.
