A food truck festival is heading out to Framingham this September. Whether you live or work in the area, this is a great opportunity to take advantage of all that Boston’s mobile eats have to offer. Presented by Hood Cream, the 3rd Annual Framingham Food Truck Festival will be teaming up with MetroFest to bring folks live performances, food trucks and crafts, notes a release.

In addition to the food trucks, Boston-area Chef Chris Coombs (Deuxave, Boston Chops, dbar) will be at this year’s festival offering up “cooking tips at Hood Cream booth,” according to an official source. Food trucks will also be battling it out to create the winning recipe using Hood Cream for the first-ever Hood “Cream of the Crop” contest.

Participating food trucks at this year’s Framingham Food Truck Festival will include: Batch Ice Cream, Benny’s Crepe Café, Bon Me, Bone Daddy’s Burgers, Captain Marden’s Cod Squad, Evan’s NY Style Deli, Frozen Hoagies, Makin Jamaican, Mei Mei Street Kitchen, M&M BBQ Ribs, Pasta Pot, Plouf Plouf Gastronomie, Renula’s Kitchen, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, The Dining Car, The Happy Taco, The Latin Spoon, Trolley Dogs and more (if you can believe that).

The food truck festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bowditch Field located at 475 Union Ave in Framingham. Food truck festival tickets are $5 and can be purchased online through Eventbrite or day of with cash only. There will be ATMs available on-site as well.
