City Hall Plaza is becoming Boston’s go-to spot for al fresco beer festivals.
The Copenhagen Beer Celebration, a craft beer and music festival co-produced by Mikkeller Brewing and Crash Line Productions, will hit Boston September 23 and 24.

Mikkeller, a renowned Danish brewer, is also brewing a special Boston Calling beer available exclusively at this May’s festival. On June 18, Sierra Nevada will host it’s “Beer Camp Across America” festival in the Plaza as well.
The Copenhagen Beer Celebration will feature more than 50 of the most highly acclaimed breweries in the world. Local participants include Jack’s Abby, Mystic and Samuel Adams. Allagash, out of Portland, ME, and Vermont’s Hill Farmstead will also be in attendance. Global breweries will hail from the likes of England, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy and Belgium.

Tickets are on sale now on the event’s website, each of which includes a bevy of beer tasting tokens. Food will be provided by Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, Tasty Burger and more.
“Giving beer lovers the chance to experience over 100 rare and beloved craft beers from 50+ breweries from around the globe, this new outdoor beer and music festival will place emphasis on highly sought after and cult favorite beers while shining a spotlight on talented brewers from around the country and overseas,” the festival said in a release.
