Construction work on Boston’s Millennium Tower is expected to wrap up in 2016. Once it’s complete, Millennium will stand 625 feet off the ground, making it the tallest residential building in Boston. If it’s hard to imagine the one-million-square foot behemoth atop a Downtown Crossing parcel, don’t worry – this video shows it off just fine:
“Anchored by the renovated historic Burnham Building, Millennium Tower will stand at the center of a reinvigorated downtown Boston, home to vibrant retail, restaurants and a new Roche Bros. gourmet grocery,” Millennium Partners, the developers write on Vimeo. “THE CITY RISES FROM HERE.”
In less than a minute-and-a-half, Millennium Partners’ video gives people exactly what they want: 1) An aerial shot of Downtown Crossing with the tower; and 2) A taste of the views residents will be able to take it.
Last weekend, construction crews completed the largest concrete pour in Boston history. Today, Millennium Partners drops this video. Let the excitement build.
