Are you hungry, Boston? The 2013 Boston Winter Restaurant Week is once again upon us! For 12 days, Bostonians are invited to dine at some of the finest restaurants the Hub has to offer with special prix fixe menus. This season, Restaurant Week Boston runs from Sunday, March 17 through Friday, March 22, and again from Sunday, March 24 through Friday, March 29.
For Boston Restaurant Week diners, restaurants host up to three pricing options, as listed below:
- 3 Course Dinner for $38.13
- 3 Course Lunch for $20.13
- 2 Course Lunch for $15.13
Prices actually increased from Boston’s last Restaurant Week (which was in August 2012). The biggest price hike was the three course dinner, which rose by $5.01. The three- and two-course lunches only increased by $0.01 from last summer.
Over 200 restaurants are participating in this season’s Restaurant Week, giving diners a plethora of options to choose from – but also making it all the more difficult to decide which restaurant to choose. It’s impossible to dine at all 200 plus restaurants in 12 days – which is where we come in. If you’re going to spend $38.13 on a three-course, fixed price dinner, you better be getting your money’s worth.
Don’t worry, we’ve done the leg work for you. We took the restaurants’ standard menu prices and analyzed whether or not $38.13 for a three-course meal is a good deal in relation to those standard menu prices. So before you venture out onto the town over the next two weeks, click through the slideshow below for a glimpse of the 17 restaurants that are your best bets for Boston Restaurant Week 2013. Be aware that some of the best restaurants will book up their reservations very quickly, so make yours here ASAP through Open Table.
And most importantly, happy dining!
