Every month, BostInno publishes recap posts about startup funding, events, mergers & acquisitions, new hires and departures in the Boston tech ecosystem. Starting last month, we added a ‘BostInno Approved’ for companies that are hiring that had tremendous success.

For September, the big news in terms of tech companies hiring in the hub is about Facebook. The Boston Globe reported that the social media giant is planning to hire more than 500 employees for its new office in Cambridge, which will be opening next year. Facebook’s Boston career page currently lists 20 open positions, 16 of them for software engineers, and we’re sure there’s more to come.
