Your new lunch time destination has arrived!
According to an official source, the new Mediterranean restaurant, Cafe Med, opened with partial service at the end of last month and is now open full-time in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.
The restaurant, opened by Manos Linoxilakis and Christophe Muller, serves up fresh Mediterranean ingredients with a Greek influenced flavors. Diners can expect Chicken, Beef or Vegetarian plates with sides such as Falafel Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Grape-leaves. Other offerings include, Roll-Ups, and Greek Pita/Savlaki sandwiches, Greek Hotdogs wrapped in a fresh savlaki with french fries, onions and tomatoes, drizzled with a Tzatziki Sauce.
The interior of the restaurant, designed by Marianna Holoway, is described as “whimsical,” with customized light fixtures made of spoons and ladles – along with a collection of antique clocks and bicycles.
Café Med is located at 31 St. James Ave. in Boston, Massachusetts in the Park Square Building. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
