Mark your calendars Boston, there is a philanthropic fitness class being held next week and it’s not to be missed.
On Wednesday, September 24 beginning at 5:30 p.m. head over to District Hall for an outdoor class led by Pilates with Purpose. This newly developed networking group incorporates health and wellness with good old fashioned meet and greets. Each month the organization chooses a different charity where all of the proceeds go.
This month all donations will go towards the Brighton-based organization, Cradles to Crayons. According to the release, it costs $5 to partake in the fitness classes and guests are encouraged to bring their own mats for the workout.
This Wednesday, participants will have the choice between either a Pilates or boxing class — both led by Boston fitness professionals. And with established sponsors such as The Club by George Forman III, The Handle Bar and C2 Pilates, we’re certain you’ll be in fantastic fitness hands.
Post-workout, stay and enjoy delicious and nutritious eats from Gather while sipping on a well-earned Sam Adams brew. Who ever said you had to choose between your workout and a networking event? No longer.
If you’re interested in attending, head on over to their Eventbrite page and reserve your spot. See you on the mat!
