Rejoice! The return of warm weather also means a plethora of upcoming food truck festivals in the New England area. Here in Boston, we’re pretty big fans of mobile eats (or any “eats” for that matter) – especially when we can find them all at once. Thankfully, you can do just that this summer.
On June 14, Blue Hills Bank Pavilion will host the first-ever Fork in the Road Food Truck Festival in Boston. The festival will feature music, beer and a bevy of food trucks – 15, in fact. Some of the most popular Boston food trucks will be serving up everything from Asian fusion and fresh seafood to grilled cheese and decadent desserts.
Harpoon Brewery favorites will also be available to help liven up the party. Festival-goers can imbibe on Harpoon IPA, Harpoon Summer, UFO White, and UFO Big Squeeze Shandy.
Participating food trucks at the festival will include Bon Me, The Bacon Truck, Captain Marden’s Cod Squad, the Dining Car, The Taco Truck, Fugu, Stoked, and more, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
In a release, James Jenson, General Manager of Live Nation Entertainment, states that the food truck festival “will be a perfect combination for an affordable price, and it’s bound to be a great event on the waterfront.” The Fork in the Road Food Truck Festival will take place noon to 10 p.m., rain or shine. Tickets are on sale now at $15 and can be purchased at www.livenation.com.
Hey, you know what they say – “when you come to a fork in the road, take it!” We’ll certainly take ourselves to this food truck festival, anyway.
