Let’s face it: We can’t all be as suave and clever as Don Draper. But can we all look, dress and act like him. And tonight, one local restaurant wants to make that happen for you.

To celebrate the premiere of Season 5 of Med Men, Scollay Square restaurant in Beacon Hill is throwing a Mad Men Viewing Party tonight. The party will celebrate the life and times of Don Draper and the whirlwind ad industry that he dominated.

As you step inside the restaurant, you’ll be transported back in time to the 1960s. Restaurant staff will be dressed in “Mad Men-esque uniforms,” serving up specialty cocktails and retro dishes. In fact, your ticket includes two complimentary cocktails and unlimited passed hors d’oeuvres. I’ll have a dry martini and deviled eggs, please.

Guests are invited – encouraged, actually – to dress up like their favorite characters. Think you have the best Betty Draper impression? Enter the costume contest, and an honorary judge will decided the top three costumes. Winners will snag gift certificates to any Legendary Restaurant Group location, valued at $100, $50 and $25.

And most importantly, of course, the Mad Men season premiere will be playing on three large flat screen TVs throughout the restaurant.

The party starts at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased here.

Oh, but the fun doesn’t stop with the premiere tonight. Every Sunday throughout Mad Men season, Scollay Square will have the 1960’s menu available 6 p.m. until close.
