Wayfair co-founders Niraj Shah and Steve Conine are billionaires, making them among the wealthiest people in Massachusetts.

That’s according to new wealth estimates from AffluenceIQ, a database of high net-worth individuals in Massachusetts run by Winchester-based Massinvestor.

The company provided BostInno with a specialized list of the wealthiest people who live in the state (or at least have a residence here) and work in the following industries: general IT, software and Internet, networking, storage and hardware, electronics and semiconductor.

The wealth assigned to each individual in AffluenceIQ’s data is based on a minimum net worth threshold that is estimated through publicly available information. Data sources include home values from assessor databases, prices of recent home purchases and valuations of businesses.

In the case of Shah and Conine, their wealth has risen at an extraordinary rate from 2016, when BostInno listed each of their estimates at $400 million. That’s thanks to Wayfair’s rising stock price, which has increased from around $40 in mid-2016 to $82 Wednesday evening.
