Boston’s been getting a lot of love from the SportsCenter commercial producers lately. About a month ago, Rondo starred in a “This is SportsCenter” commercial joking about his abnormally large mitts. Now, Harvard grad and current Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin is starring in one of his own.

In Lin’s spot, he helps ESPN anchor Jay Crawford fine-tune some analysis, tossing out a few Harvard-grad-level terms like “trajectory,” “terminal velocity” and “temporal nature.”

Short but smirk-worthy — I like it. Lin’s bit is definitely better than Rondo’s awkward hand commercial, but not at all up there with the “Three Amigos” commercial or the “same clothes to work” commercial.

Say what you will about ESPN’s programming, but their commercial team does little wrong.
