I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t kicking myself for not dining in Boston’s North End last weekend. According to multiple reports, the “little Italy” neighborhood hosted The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon this past Saturday, November 8.

The Boston Globe reports that Fallon dined at the cozy Trattoria di Monica restaurant on Saturday, before heading to the TD Garden where he performed at the 20th anniversary of Comics Come Home. The event benefited the Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care.

We can’t tell you what he ordered at Monica’s but we can tell you that, in addition to dining at Trattoria di Monica, he also stopped across the street at Monica’s Mercato (per Vinoteca di Monica’s Facebook post above) to “catch up with the Mendoza family,” reports NorthEndWaterfront.com. Sister restaurant, Trattoria di Monica, also posted a similar Facebook post and photo of Fallon with the Mendoza family, below.
