The fight has ended.
Pacquiao has lost three times in his career and will look to avoid his fourth against the undefeated Bradley. Bradley was fought fewer fights than Pacquiao, so don’t be deceived by the loss columns for these respective fighters. Pacquiao is still the favorite, coming off a win over Juan Manuel Marquez back in November of last year. Bradley’s last fight was a win over Joel Casamoyer at the same event.
This is no Pacquiao v. Mayweather dream fight, but it’ll do for now.
Here’s more on the fight courtesy of Wikipedia:
After the Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight negotiation ended when both sides once again did not come to terms, Mayweather opted to challenge junior middleweight titlist Miguel Cotto on May 5. Cotto had also been in the running to face Pacquiao in a rematch, but Pacquiao and Cotto could not agree on the weight for the fight. Pacquiao wanted the 147-pound welterweight limit, which Cotto said was too low for him, and he accepted a deal from Mayweather.
The fight with Marquez was a controversial one as he stripped him of his title in a very close fight decided by majority decision. Many people expected the fight to be a draw.
You might not be able to be at the MGM Grand, but now you can still sit ringside and watch every punch thrown from the comfort of your own home.
