WWE’s final pay-per-view before Wrestlemania, the Elimination Chamber, takes place tonight live from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

You can watch the Elimination Chamber online at WWE.com, or you can order the event from your cable provider for $44.99.

C.M. Punk will defend his WWE Championship against R-Truth, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston and Chris Jericho inside the ominous structure that encases all six contenders, but only releases one into the fray every five minutes. On the SmackDown side of things, Daniel Bryan will defend his title against the Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, The Great Khali and Santino Marella.

Beth Phoenix will also defend her WWE Divas Title against Tamina Snuka, but the main event is John Cena’s ambulance match against Kane, who has been trying to get WWE’s golden boy to “embrace the hate” for weeks now, using carefully calculated attacks on Cena as well as his friend, Zack Ryder and Ryder’s girlfriend, Eve to throw Cena off his game.

It’s an important match for two reasons: first, Cena is scheduled to face The Rock at Wrestlemania in just six weeks, and few in the WWE Universe are sure how he’ll go into the match. It should be a match between faces of the franchise over two generations of wrestling, but if WWE brass decides to turn the brash Cena into a heel heading into his showdown with The Rock, who has established status as a permanent face, it will ruin what could be one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches in the history of the event. It’s also an important match because, heading into Wrestlemania, Cena needs to be healthy.

Here’s more from Wikipedia on the event:

Daniel Bryan will defend his championship against Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, Big Show, The Great Khali, and Santino Marella. Originally, Mark Henry was named as a participant in the match, but was removed from the contest and suspended indefinitely by SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long for threatening him. The Great Khali replaced him in the match. Randy Orton was also originally a participant in the match, but suffered a concussion after World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan hit him over the head with the title belt on the February 13, 2012 episode of Raw. His replacement will be Santino Marella, who won a battle royal on the February 17, 2012 episode of SmackDown.

John Cena and Kane began feuding in December 2011, with Kane targeting Cena due to his t-shirt slogan, “Rise Above Hate”. To play psychological games with Cena, Kane began targeting Cena’s friend Zack Ryder and his on-screen girlfriend, Eve Torres, attacking Ryder and cornering Eve in a variety of situations, all in an effort to make Cena “embrace the hate”. On February 6, an Ambulance match stipulation was announced for the match between Kane and Cena.
