Local voice recognition giant Nuance Communications, the company believed to be behind Siri, is no stranger to acquisitions. Today, it announced a new one: VirtuOz, developer of a virtual assistant for enterprise customers.

The price of the deal is as of yet undisclosed, but the move clearly signals Nuance’s interest in beefing up its enterprise business. VirtuOz is split between France and San Francisco, and has raised $20.4 million in VC. You can read more about the deal at TechCrunch.
