Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao are in for a brawl this weekend. Pacquiao and Bradley will be boxing at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 9, 2012 for the world welterweight title. And although Pacquiao’s been on a winning streak for the last seven months, Bradley has been pegged as the only boxer who has the capability to knock Manny Pacquiao out. The Pacquiao-Bradley fight start time is set for 9 p.m., so be sure to set your clocks now, because you’re not going to want to miss this show.

In a 30-minute sit-down with reporters on Wednesday, Pacquiao assured the media he isn’t underestimating Bradley three different times. And now that Bradley’s finally won his chance to fight against Pacquiao, he’s not about to back down without a few good, strong swings.

“It’s been a long journey, but I knew I’d get here,” Bradley said in an interview with the Associated Press. “I just didn’t know when or how.”

Bradley’s won all 28 of his fights, though he’s never fought anyone with the strength or fame of Pacquiao. Despite being undefeated, Bradley’s strength has still been called into question by the Pacquiao camp, who thinks he’s too slow and doesn’t punch hard enough to make him a threat, according to the Associated Press.

Bradley’s job on Saturday night will be to prove them all wrong.

Bradley will be fighting at 147 pounds, bulking up to challenge Pacquiao for the welterweight title. If he wins, he’d make a minimum of $5 million. That’s only the beginning, however. If he pulls off an upset, more lucrative fights will undoubtedly begin pouring in.

“I don’t look pretty, I don’t look special,’’ Bradley said. “I don’t have that spark where everyone says ‘wow.’ I know I’m going to have to do that in this fight. You could see some greatness Saturday night.’’

With so much at stake for both boxers, you’re really not going to want to miss this fight. As the Pacquiao-Bradley match gets closer, we’ll be covering all the news and buzz surrounding it.
