Taza Chocolates

With chilly hands and empty stomachs, shoppers this holiday season can warm up with Boston’s most delicious new pop-up shop. This season, the Revere Hotel Boston Common is hosting “Pop It Like It’s Hot,” a gourmet hot chocolate pop-up shop, in its lobby.

Every Friday afternoon from November 23rd through December 21st, guests can come to the Revere Hotel from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to enjoy free hot chocolate. The cocoa mix will be provided by Taza Chocolate, a Somerville-based chocolatier. Revere Hotel’s Executive Chef Bader Ali will mix up deliciously inventive hot chocolate flavors like Maple Bacon, Meringue Brulee and Ginger White Chocolate.

The hot chocolate at the pop-up is free, but the Revere Hotel is encouraging customers to enjoy the treat on a “pay-what-you-want” system. All donations for the hot chocolate will be given to local nonprofit The Home for Little Wanderers.

Taza Chocolate will also have samples, gifts and products for purchase available at the pop-up store.

For updates on which hot cocoa flavors will be featured in the pop-up store each week, follow the Revere Hotel on Twitter and Facebook.
