President Barack Obama will fly to Boston Wednesday to take part in a series of fundraising events.

While in Boston, the president is expected to participate in a round-table discussion and attend a dinner to benefit the Democratic National Committee.

Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, the AP reports, were expected to ramp up their fundraising efforts for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.

Only pre-credentialed media will have access to the arrival and departure of Air Force One this week. Both will be closed to the public.

Last October, Obama visited Boston’s Faneuil Hall to speak on the Affordable Care Act. His Faneuil Hall speech was delivered where former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, in 2006, signed the state’s “Romneycare” health legislation into law.
