Good news for all the Stephanie’s fan’s out there. They will soon be able to get their Stephanie’s “sophisticated comfort food” fix while on the go at Logan International Airport.

As many of you already know, Restaurateur Stephanie Sokolove first opened the wildly popular Stephanie’s on Newbury back in 1994. The rest is history as both Stephi’s on Tremont and Stephi’s in Southie followed in the flagship restaurant’s successful footsteps later.

According to a Boston Herald report, Stephanie’s will open this new airport restaurant concept “in the Terminal B connector in April after completion of Massport’s ?$120 million construction project.”

The restaurant will have a full bar and “will be operated under a licensing agreement by San Mateo, Calif.-based Tastes on the Fly, which specializes in bringing outposts of local dining establishments to airports,” the Boston Herald notes.

One thing’s for sure – flying just got a lot tastier and Legal Sea Foods may finally have some real airport food competition. We’ll also have to see how this airport Stephanie’s differs from its Boston-area counterparts (and whether it also has the same amazing Enomatic elite wine dispensary like the one from Stephi’s in Southie).

We sure hope it does. In the meantime, bring on the lobstah rolls!

BostInno reached out to Stephanie Sokolove for comment and will update the story when we have more information.
