Rise and shine (and start planning next Saturday’s brunch)! By now I’m sure most of you have heard of (or eaten at) The Beehive’s jazz brunch. A great way to close out the week, the Bohemian restaurant features live music and comfort food fare – perfect for winter.

But this coming Saturday, March 1, it gets even better. Painter Enrique Flores-Galbis will join jazz musician Nat Mugavero on The Beehive’s stage for an afternoon of painting inspired by Mugavero’s live musical performance. Flores-Galbis’ finished painting will be available for purchase at the end of the event.

It’s Tipsy Time — Here are the Brunch Buzz Deets

The special artsy jazz brunch will take place next Saturday, March 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For reservations, check here.

The Beehive is located in the South End at 541 Tremont Street.

While experiencing a blend of improvised creativity and a music-filled atmosphere, diners can also chow down on delicious Thick-Cut French Toast (my favorite), or The Beehive’s Short Rib, Farmhouse Cheddar and Fontina Grilled Cheese. Yum yum!

The Brunch Buzz Drink

Your glass won’t be empty while you brunch away next Saturday. Fill it with one their spicy Bloody Marys or bubbly cocktails. The Beehive serves up a delicious “Beelini” with apricot nectar – as well as a buzzworthy Mimosa. The choice is yours – just don’t spill it on your improvised painting on the way out.
