Even though some days a horse and carriage feels like it would travel faster than the MBTA, historical figures need to take the T every once in a while, too. A commuter spotted Mr. Benjamin Franklin himself (OK, it obviously wasn’t Franklin himself, but just go with me for the story’s sake) loading up his Charlie Card this week. No word on whether or not he was doing so with Benjamins. Either way, it’s good to know that one of the Founding Fathers supports public transit.

Have a good weekend, folks!
