After recovering from illness to blank an indifferent, lazy Team USA in the bronze medal game at Sochi, Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask is taking it easy. After all, he’s earned it. His first Olympic outing saw him post not only a shutout on Saturday, but a stellar effort between the pipes as Team Finland ousted host country Russia in the quarterfinals.
Rask’s teammate Sami Lepisto of the KHL posted this picture of the netminder kicking it in a loud, tropical argyle tracksuit.
“Some Olympic volunteer joined our day party,” posted Lepisto on Instagram.
Come back to Boston already, will you?
