Fueled by movies like First Kid and My Date With the President’s Daughter and the real-life Chelsea Clinton, I spent the majority of the Clinton era obsessing over what it would be like to grow up with Secret Service agents planning my every move. Riding in motorcades, eating posh meals with heads of state and having the White House as my personal playground was all I wished for.
Now, Uber is finally helping make my dreams come true. Well, sort of. In honor of Presidents’ Day, the company is giving a few lucky users the chance to ride in their very own personal motorcade.
Here’s how it works: use the Uber app to request a car until 4 p.m. on Monday, February 18th. Then, wait for your car to show up, and if you’re lucky, you could get an Ubercade comprised of two SUVs (Suburbans and Escalades), a Cadillac DTS sedan in the middle and American flags lining all three vehicles.
Here’s a video explaining the promotion in more detail:
But the fun doesn’t stop there. If you end up getting that Ubercade, tweet a picture of you and your Ubercade with the following message to earn $20 in Uber credit:
I’m riding in style with my security entourage @Uber_BOS! #ubercade #presidentsday
Thanks to Uber, you could finally get your chance to live the 2013 version of Chasing Liberty (minus Mandy Moore).
