WeWork Fort Point

So networking may not be the first thing on your mind with Juno well on its way to Boston — but there’s a good chance you’ll be pretty eager to get out of the house after being holed up during the blizzard. Luckily, there are plenty of noteworthy events happening this week, from thought-provoking panel discussions to open-house hackathons. Just be sure to keep an eye out for any last-minute changes to the dates and times due to the impending storm.

Wednesday 1/28

WeWork Trial Day — If you’ve been searching for new office space but are overwhelmed by the options, consider taking advantage of WeWork Fort Point’s free trial day. See the space for yourself and test out all the amenities while also meeting some of the 850-plus members before committing. If you’re interested in a trial but this session is sold out, you’re encouraged to contact Kim Lombard at . Register here.

Law 101 for Startups — SheStarts, an organization that aims to provide support for the pipeline of women founders in Boston, is hosting this event at WeWork South Station to help attendees learn about the typical legal issues startups face and how to plan for them. An all-female panel of lawyers will offer insights into corporate matters, employment issues, patents and immigration, while light food and beverages are served. They will also be prepared to answer any questions audience members may have. Register here.
