If you were asked to eat all three of the above foods in exchange for Red Sox tickets, would you do it? Um, yes you would. Which is why we’re here to tell you about a special Red Sox-inspired challenge happening in the North End very soon.
Beginning on April 11, a trio of North End restaurants will be participating in “Triple Play.” The event is a dine-around challenge where participants must eat the signature dishes from Regina Pizzeria, Modern Pastry and Pauli’s. I think we can handle that.
The dishes you will be required to order and eat are: Two traditional cannoli from Modern Pastry, the infamous Giambotta (three pound pizza) from Regina Pizzeria, and last (but certainly not least) a Lobster Sub made with 14oz of fresh lobster meat and mayo on a grilled long sub roll at Pauli’s.
Suck it up, you can do it.
And given that a pair of Red Sox tickets await you at the finish line (that comes in the form of a stomachache), it will certainly be worth it. Guests are asked to mail in their receipts from each location to Pauli’s in order to collect their tickets to an upcoming game.
The “Triple Play” event starts April 11 and will be ongoing through August 2014 (or until tickets run out). Best of luck to the North End
bingers diners and let us know how your Triple Play experience plays out.
