On Tuesday, February 21st, the Chicago Inno team ventured to General Assembly to host the second annual Food Inno, presented by Foodworks Venture Funds. With numerous local food entrepreneurs in the room, the night’s conversation centered around the companies, trends and challenges in the Chicago food industry.
Throughout the night we heard from Tock‘s CTO and Co-founder, Brian Fitzpatrick, Tovala‘s CEO and Founder, David Rabie and a VC food panel. The panel included Christine Welch, owner of Simply Baked Gluten Free, Kurt Estes, Director of the Investment Banking unit with Sikich Accounting, Lee Strom, Chairman of FARM Illinois and Tony Caccomo with Foodworks Venture Funds.
