Huge is a marketing, design and technology services company with a sprawling, 53-person D.C.-based office. The firm has worked with a cohort of high-profile clients, including The White House, car manufacturer Lexus, sporting goods co. Nike and luxury watch makers Hublot, to provide them with digital properties like custom-built websites, videos, logos and mobile apps.

Internationally, Huge boasts 12 offices across the globe. And locally, in view of the D.C. tech scene, they’re a name to know as both an employer and innovator.

“We work to deliver the best user experience, design and technology to our clients. Here in D.C., we have a particular focus on serving mission-based organizations, where we feel we can make a big impact, especially with government agencies. There’s no reason citizens shouldn’t interact with their government in the same way that consumers interact with their favorite brands,” said managing director Kate Watts.

In March, Huge moved from their previous office based in D.C.’s historic Shaw neighborhood to a beautiful 11,870-square-foot, modern, multi-level facility in an industrial area bordering the Union Market district in NE D.C. Architecture firm Abramson Teiger Architects were employed to help design the building, which is owned by Edens.

This new office,  located at 530 Penn St., offers the team room to grow in size. It is about 3,700-square-feet larger than the old office—not including the building’s fresh outdoor patio space. Watts told DC Inno that she plans to use the dog-friendly, startup-esque D.C. office to, among other things, “host more events, create strategic partnerships, and be an anchor for the growing creative community, especially in the Union Market district.”

Regarding how Huge DC will grow as a business, Watts said: “we’re actively building relationships with decision-makers in the corporate, nonprofit and government sectors who are bold enough to shift the way they think about digital marketing and technology to be more user-centric.”
