The Boston Globe has just released it’s study on the Best Places to Work in 2010 and the Boston startup scene is well represented. The study which included 1,160 employers from across the United States, 236 of those went all the way through the process allowing confidential surveys to be completed by all employees. 82,000 individuals from those companies graded their companies performance according to 23 distinct statements. The employers were then measured on six key factos; direction, execution, managers, career, conditions, and pay and benefits.

The companies were then classified into three categories, small workplaces – 100 to 249 Mass employees, midsize – 250 to 999 Mass employees, and large – 1,000 or more Mass employees.

Small Employers
