Majic Productions, a sound, video and lighting production company based in Waukesha, was one of the more than 300 vendors working in Miami this past weekend for Super Bowl LIV.

The company provided and set up its audio and visual equipment outside of Hard Rock Stadium, the site of the NFL championship game, during Super Bowl fan parties for both the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

More than 100,000 visitors descended on South Florida last week, giving the Wisconsin company a boost in exposure. Founder Michael Jurken launched Majic (which stands for Michael A. Jurken Is Cool) in 1999 at age 12.

Interestingly, this isn’t Majic's first time working at a Super Bowl.

In 2018, the company provided the audio and visual support in downtown Minneapolis for the 10-block Super Bowl Live fan festival. Other large sporting events for Majic include doing the tent lighting at the U.S. Open at Wisconsin’s Erin Hills golf course in 2017.

Other notable contracts for Majic include video production for the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Foxconn Technology Group groundbreaking in Mount Pleasant. The company, who has a full-time staff of around 40 employees, works more than 1,000 events per year, including sporting events, corporate conferences, fundraisers, sales meetings and weddings.
